[ENG] Clementine Oomes over Julie Dassaud

These are thin lines which tell something big.

A few lines describes a whole mountain landscape.

As Julie herself translates her work into a music sheet,

So can I see a circuit of intriguing cable network
taking us by and large into wide landscapes.

I like the fragility of the lines network
aside the robust reliefs of my work.

Het zijn de fijne lijnen die iets heel groots vertellen.

Een enkele lijn omschrijft een heel berglandschap.

Zoals Julie haar werk zelf vertaalt als een partituur,

Zo zie ik een spannende lijnvoering die ons meeneemt

over wijds uitgestrekte landschappen.

Het fragiele van de lijnvoering spreekt me aan naast het

robuuste reliëf van mijn tekening.
